Harvest Dinner

WOW!  A great turnout for the annual Harvest Dinner.  We served over 200 dinners!  Thanks to all who supported the dinner.  Special thanks to all our volunteers – too numerous to name.  Special thank you to Bill Dawson who cooked all our turkeys in 4 days and Karen Gawron for all her support and chef input!  Without our volunteers that did all the prep work and worked the day of the dinner it wouldn’t have been such a success.  Thank you all!!!

Harvest Dinner Bake Sale

For those of you that don’t realize – bake sales are reliant on our members baking and donating the goods for sale.  Special thanks to the bakers who donated goods!   BUT getting the goods to sell is the job of the Bake Sale Chairs – without the goods – no sale.  Very special  recognition to Chairs Peggy Sawka and Becky Sabourin for contacting member bakers.

The Harvest Dinner Bake Sale set a record for the Auxiliary making over $550!!!  Great job all!!!

Junior Order of Eagles Anyone

Interested?

After attending State Convention, it was brought to our attention that some clubs have a youth program called J.O.E. {Junior Order of Eagles).   She is interested in knowing if there are others who have youths who may want to be a younger part of this Eagles Club.  It could also be open to other Aeries if the interest is out there. It takes planning and Grand Aerie approval with dedicated adults to lead our younger generation on the importance of teamwork, respect, patriotism, selflessness, and other values..  If you have any interest in supporting the start-up of this group please contact Kyle Proctor at 313-268-6101.
