Aerie & Auxiliary Volunteer Drive
Do you realize that Secord Lake relies on volunteers? From officers, work parties, that keep the club in good shape & up to code, function chairs, all the way down to the dishwashers for functions – all volunteer their time and get worn out. WE NEED YOU!! Volunteer sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board. Please think about donating any amount of time, ideas or talents – you won’t be turned down!! Help keep the club alive!!!
Check the tent cards on the tables for events. Don’t forget our daily specials for food and drinks. Help always welcome at the work party on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 9 AM. These volunteers are responsible for everything you enjoy at the club from light bulbs to … a lot!!! For more info call Russ Norton at 989-426-7354. Support our 2nd and 4th Saturday Fish Fry and every Saturday Steak Cards. Volunteers are always needed for the Fish Fry’s Call the club at 426-3454 for more info.

Monday Night Walk-on Euchre
Monday night walk-on euchre is finished for the summer but will resume on September 9th. 5:30PM registration - 6PM play cards!

Outside (weather permitting) or inside if not!! $10 per person – payout based on participants – ½ to players – ½ to club.
Random Partners. Register by 12:30 – Tournament starts at 1PM. Much improved from last tournament. Lessons learned! Come play!!
Charity Chinese Dinner Saturday, August 10th
The Auxiliary will be holding Chinese Dinner, Saturday, August 10th from 3PM til gone. Featuring all homemade food Egg Rolls, Won Ton Soup and Chicken Stir Fry all for $8. All proceeds go to our Madam President, Kyle Proctors’ charity – New Dawn Homeless Shelter. We are therefore asking for donations to offset food expense – donation envelopes are posted in the hallway. Please donate to this worthy charity.

Boater Safety Class, Sunday, August 11th
Our annual Boater Safety Class will be held on Sunday, August 11th at 9 AM. Class is free and lunch is provided.
Secord Lake Eagles Annual Roast
Come one come all to our Annual Roast on Saturday August 17th. Also, don’t forget the annual Red Neck Horseshoes tournament.
Labor Day Auxiliary Steak Dinner, Aug 31st
Our annual steak fry will be held Saturday, August 31st from 4 PM til gone!! Featuring ¾ to 1” thick steaks, baked potato, corn on the cob and tossed salad. All for only $11. Please come and enjoy the dinner and support your Auxiliary.

Junior Order of Eagles Anyone
Interested?
After attending State Convention, it was brought to our attention that some clubs have a youth program called J.O.E. {Junior Order of Eagles). She is interested in knowing if there are others who have youths who may want to be a younger part of this Eagles Club. It could also be open to other Aeries if the interest is out there. It takes planning and Grand Aerie approval with dedicated adults to lead our younger generation on the importance of teamwork, respect, patriotism, selflessness, and other values..
